Lotus Flower Seed Heads

I love the colours and patterns in this shot which was edited in the Painteresque app on the Rainbow setting. I took the original photograph at Tynemouth station and really like the zingy greens and yellows that the app has created.

Illuminated Trees

I had great fun editing this shot of winter trees. I edited three times in total and firstly I used the FilterMania 2 app to give me the glow behind the trees. Secondly I used the Toon Camera app to eccentuate the lines and finally the InfiniFX to posterize the final photograph. I love the way it looks as if the sky is on fire.

Mystery Plant

I featured this Mystery plant on the 13 November and I still don’t know what it is. I love this shot and it has been edited firstly in the Toon Camera app and the rainbow setting in the Painteresque app. I love the colours and contrast in light and shade.

I edited this photograph of a green Chrysanthemum featured in the post on the 18th November with the Picfx app. I love the colours and patterns created within the flower by the app.

I used the SuperPhoto app to edit this shot of a Protea flower and I am enjoying the patterns created by the app. I can see rows of teeth, plaits and a scalloped edge just for starters. What patterns can you see? Let me know.

I love the zingy contrast between the cerise of the petals and the limey yellow centers. I edited the shot with the Toon Camera app which has defined the edges and shadows.

I edited this lovely shot of Heathers with the Toon Camera app. I love the way the app has eccentuated the colours and textures.

I used the Toon Camera app to alter this shot of a Phlox plant. I love the beautiful pinks and greens in the photograph.

I edited this shot of a mosaic wall in Epcot in Florida with the Paper Camera app. I particularly love the lilac version in the bottom right hand corner.

I used the Paper Camera app to edit this photograph of a chandelier in the Casa Batllo in Barcelona. All the walls in the Casa Batllo have this wonderful texture which resembles broken egg shells. I love the way the app has exaggerated the crackled effect and the way the light bulbs appear to glow.

I really like the vibrancy of this photograph of Chrysanthemums. I edited the shot in the Paper Camera app on the Neon setting. I love the transparent quality of the petals and the rich bronze colours which weren’t apparent in the original.

This shot of a Stargazer lily was edited in the SuperPhoto app. The anthers on the stamens have become elongated and the center of the flower looks like a citrus fruit sliced in half. I think it’s great to see something familiar from a different perspective as it sparks off ideas for shapes and designs.

I think the colours and shadows created by the Toon Camera app in this photograph are wonderful. The colours seem to glow and the contrast between dark and light is extremely pleasing to the eye.

I couldn’t decide what to call this photograph and the lovely Rosanna came up with Fabulous Fushias. Jade said it reminded her of Tiffany glass and I can see what she means with the mixture of colours and heavy borders. I edited the shot in the Pencil Camera app followed by the Toon Camera app to add the borderlines around the flowers and leaves and finally the Etchings app to add the shadows. Jade is right it would make a great piece of stained glass.

I edited this photograph of Dracena Marginata firstly with the Toon Camera app and then the Etchings app. The Toon Camera app has enriched the colours in the leaves and the etched lines have added their own magic.

I edited this shot of Lupins with the Toon Camera app. I love the depth of light and shade created by the app.

I love the simplicity and purity of this image. I edited this shot firstly in the Etchings app and secondly in the SuperPhoto app. The gentle grey borders and the subtle shading created by the faux etching enhance the beauty of one of my favourite flowers.

Have a great weekend.

With love, light, purity and truth.

I absolutely love the colours in this edited shot of a Rosa Rugosa flower. I used the PaintMee app to create this photograph and think it would look fantastic on a large canvas displayed on a white wall.

This shot of an exotic Hibiscus was much edited before I started to play with it again. This time around I altered the colour with the PictureShow app and then whizzed it through the Etchings app to create the textured shadows. I’m really enjoying the complementary colours of orange and purple together and the turquoisey greens which weren’t in the original photo.

As you may have realised I love dragonflies and today whilst out shopping I found this beautiful brooch. I took the shot with my iPad and love the shadows created by the wings.

Have a wonderful weekend with you and yours and treasure every moment.

Love, light, purity and truth.
