15 March 2012 – Pen & Ink Autumn Leaves

I enjoy drawing in pen and ink. To colour the paper after it was drawn I squiggled  (my technical term to describe rubbing the ink pads) in several autumnal tones of Adirondack Dye Ink pads onto a non-stick craft sheet and spritzed the wet ink with a fine water spray. I then placed my drawing into the watery ink. I like to dry in between each application with a heat gun and reapply until I’m happy with the result. I love the Beech Nut husk with the spikey outer casing.
