This little painting was a study of a Hydrangea. Painting on black paper makes a bigger contrast.

I think this rose drawing turned out well. I gave it a colourwash to give the drawing some depth.

This little painting was done with Koh-I-Noor dye watercolours , Zig felt pens and Lumiere metallic acrylic paints. I think that it has a lovely depth about it.

Happiness is being covered in paint! On a recent visit to Frameworks in Blyth just before Christmas we bought this painting to go in our red bedroom. I’ve been titivating this little painting. The centres of the flowers needed encrusting and enhancing. I used micro beads, iridescent jewels and eyelash glitter. I love how it has turned out.
