I think this rose drawing turned out well. I gave it a colourwash to give the drawing some depth.

This little painting was done with Koh-I-Noor dye watercolours , Zig felt pens and Lumiere metallic acrylic paints. I think that it has a lovely depth about it.

This little painting was of a dried seed head. It was painted on good old fashioned sugar paper in a combination of ink and poster paint. I really like the way I have captured the shape and lines. My most successful work is all about the line. I was about 17 when I painted it. [...]

Well here it is! I finished titivating this picture last night and I am thrilled with it. I really enjoyed drawing with Pebeo Touch. It brings out all the detail that I wanted. I also like the stenciling which makes some of the hearts look a bit different. Next job is to decide where on [...]

Happiness is being covered in paint! On a recent visit to Frameworks in Blyth just before Christmas we bought this painting to go in our red bedroom. This is the “after” picture as there were several words that were obscured by paint, some indecipherable yellow words and also 3 of the hearts had large swathes [...]

I’ve been titivating this little painting. The centres of the flowers needed encrusting and enhancing. I used micro beads, iridescent jewels and eyelash glitter. I love how it has turned out.

This is my little writing desk which I have positioned on the first half landing on our staircase. It reminds me of the Kermit the Frog song “Halfway down the stairs  is the place where I sit” . I looked everywhere for a small desk that would fit, and drove up to Blyth to an [...]
