Sandy this is just for you! This is Tynemouth Long Sands and they are at the bottom of my street. People love to surf here and one of our National Surf Champions came from Tynemouth. I always try and come home via the seafront if I have been out in the car, and open the [...]

The original shot wasn’t very sharp, but editing it 3 times in the ShockMyPic app has turned a so so photo into this riot of green foliage. The little pink flower is very special to me, as it’s called Herb Robert (Geraniun Robertianum) and is the very first wild flower name that I learnt as [...]

I took Jade’s damp dandelion for a trial run through Grungetastic and this is the result. I’m not a blue sort of girl but this really speaks to me. The streaks even look like rain don’t they. I stand bowed with raindrops Bedraggled and forlorn. I smile as the sun fills the sky My life is [...]

I love this shot of the branches I took in the rain last week. I edited it in Grungetastic. The texture in the background is beautiful and the pink and mauve is dreamy and ethereal. Hope you like it, let me know.

What a difference a day and an app makes. I was playing with the same image of the flowers in yesterdays post and I edited it on my i pad in the Photo fx Ultra app and produced this gorgeous image. I can feel a painting coming on, can’t you?

I used the Alstroemeria and Freesia shot from a previous post and ran it through the SketchMee app and then for a whirl in the Tiny Planets app, and I created this lovely image which looks to me like an extra special rose. I just love the mix of colours and textures.

I was playing around with my hollyhock painting again and after altering the colours in 100 Cameras I edited it in ShockMyPic twice and this is the result. I love the center of the seed head and the textured background. Hope you do too, let me know.

On Friday, Jade and I went for a rather damp walk in the woods, just up the coast at Holywell Dene. We took lots of photos with my i phone of the wild flowers and mossy trees. Jade took this shot of a rather damp dandelion and I edited it in Mobile Monet on the [...]

I was out shopping the other day and it was starting to rain, but I thought the young trees were so pretty with their new foliage I snapped a quick shot up into the branches.  I edited the image in Picture Show and came up with this fun mirrored shot. I’m sure there is a [...]

I took this shot last summer whilst staying at Warkworth. Gordon and I were walking along an alleyway as the sun was going down in the evening and I spotted this little fern growing  several feet high in the wall. I like the mellow colour of the bricks in the fading sunlight.

I edited this shot of some clover in PictureShow and I am really pleased with the blended colours and the composition . Hope you like it too, let me know.

Didn’t this turn out a treat? I am thrilled with the result. I processed the shot 3 times in ShockMyPic and love the way it’s gossamer quality has been enhanced by the app. I wrote this verse to accompany the image. The Dandelion sways gently Patiently awaiting the childs excited breath & Counted launch of [...]

Whilst driving the other day I saw lots of fields of oil seed rape. I edited this shot with 100 Cameras to get the contrast I wanted between the sky and the yellow field. I wrote this little piece of poetry to go with it. Before a leaden sky I glimpsed a sea of sulphur [...]

I shot this photo of a Pieris plant on our recent walk. I love the beautiful colours of the foliage. I edited the shot in ShockMyPic app, I processed the original photo 6 times to create this effect. Click on the picture to see the fantastic detail in the leaves.

I took this shot of King Edwards Bay yesterday whilst we were walking. This little beach is only a 5 minute walk down the road from where we live. I edited the shot in Mobile Monet  app and then in 100 Cameras which created extra colour in the sky and the sand. The North Sea [...]
